Nestled at the junction of the Alps and the Provence, the Seyne city overlooks the vallée de la Blanche and provides easy access to the Serre-Poncon lake .

The Seyne-les-Alpes village is located in the Alps of Haute Provence, two hours from Marseille, between Digne-les-Bains and the Serre-Poncon lake, in the heart of the Vallée de la Blanche.
Rising up to 1,260 m of altitude, the Seyne-les-alpes welcomes you in the grand and majestic decor of the "la Blanche"mountains that are topped by the peaks of the "Aiguillette", "Rocheclose" et "des Têtes".
The commune is the chief place of the Township.It has a dual vocation, agricultural and tourism. It is classified as a "Green Holiday Resort and Village of Snow" and abides by the joint union of the "Villages and Cities of character". It has won the label of the 1st flower at the regional competition of cities and flowery villages.
The decor is so green and the landscapes are so authentic that a poet nicknamed them "a small corner of Switzerland misplaced under the sun of Provence".
